MyORB
First Release
MyORB first alpha release, version 0.1 is available. Click the download link
on the left side of this page. The release is available in two packages.
The myorbidl package contains the alpha IDL compiler. It has support for
basic IDL functions and generates client and server stubs and skeletons.
The myorb package contains the ORB code itself. There isn't a lot there
at the moment. A very basic client will probably work (Some preliminary
testing has been done against both JacORB and MICO). The POA is only
partially functional and probably loaded with bugs. The purpose of this
release is mostly to establish the packaging mechanism and test the autoconf
and automake configuration. No bug reports will be accepted for the moment
since this is very early alpha code.

MyORB 0.2
Next Release
The next release of MyORB will be in late December or early January. The goal
for this release will be a fully functional client ORB with most, if not all
basic CORBA functionality. Work is in progress to add support for TypeCode
and Any. Value type semantics are targeted for inclusion in the next release,
but may not be completely functional. Also, rudimentary functions of the CCM
may be available.
